A Different Language
This project marks Muja’s first artist collaboration, bringing together contemporary art, design and whiskey in a completely new way.
AUSO is the expression of this encounter. Each bottle becomes a piece to discover, collect and keep — shaped by the distinctive vision of an artist.
Decanter
The collection explores the transformation of matter through colour, engravings and stamps. Each AUSO decanter is individually worked by hand, creating subtle variations that make every piece unique. The name AUSO, from the Latin ausus (“dared”), reflects this idea of creation and transformation.
Presented in two colourways with three variations each, the pieces connect through graphics, symbols and a fragmented Latin phrase, revealing a hidden message when brought together.
Whiskey
At its heart lies an exceptionally rare Single Grain matured for 20 years in ex-Bourbon casks, complemented by carefully selected Single Malt (ex-Sherry and ex-Marsala) and Single Pot Still (ex-Bourbon).
Produced in extremely limited quantities, it reveals layers of vanilla, honey, dried fruit and delicate spice, with remarkable smoothness, a silky texture and exceptional balance.

Giulia Poppi
The Artist
Giulia Poppi is one of the emerging voices in Italian contemporary art, exploring matter, memory and transformation. Her work has been exhibited at institutions including La Quadriennale di Roma and MAMbo. For Muja, she transforms the bottle into a collectible artwork where art, ritual and materiality converge.
